January 13, 2025 UP Products, LLC, DBA Meyer Wholesale Recalls Ready-To-Eat and Raw Sausage Products Due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergen

WASHINGTON, Jan. 13, 2025 – UP Products, LLC, doing business as Meyer Wholesale, a Ewen, Mich. establishment, is recalling approximately 400 pounds of sausage products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. January 11, 2025 Bestway Sandwiches Inc. Recalls Frozen Chicken And Cheese Taquito Products Due To Possible Foreign Matter Contamination

December 20, 2024 Impero Foods & Meats, Inc. Recalls Raw Pork Sausage Products Produced Without Benefit of Inspection

December 20, 2024 Ralph's Packing Company Recalls Ready-To-Eat Pork and Beef Bologna Products Due to Misbranding and an Undeclared Allergen

WASHINGTON, Dec. 20, 2024 – Ralph's Packing Company, a Perkins, Okla. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,132 pounds of ready-to-eat pork and beef bologna products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. December 19, 2024 Nail Factory Recalls Ineligible Frozen Siluriformes Fish Products Imported From Vietnam

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19, 2024 – NAIL Factory, the importer of record, located in Huntington Beach, Calif., is recalling approximately 1,635 pounds of ineligible frozen Siluriformes fish products that were produced by an establishment in Vietnam that is not eligible to export Siluriformes fish to the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. November 29, 2024 Baloian Farms of Arizona Co., Recalls Whole Fresh American Cucumbers Because of Possible Health Risks Due to Salmonella

Nogales, AZ (Nov. 29, 2024) – Baloian Farms of Arizona Co., Inc. (Baloian) is recalling all sizes of whole fresh American cucumbers packaged in bulk cardboard containers labeled with the “Pamela” brand, a generic white box with a sticker that provides the implicated grower’s name, “Agrotato, S.A. de C.V.,” or a clear PamPak branded bag of 6 individual cucumbers with the UPC 8 2540107010 6 (photos below). The recalled cucumbers were sold between October 12, 2024, through November 26, 2024, and are being recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.   • Stay informed about current recalls by signing up for email notices below or by checking the USDA recalls page.
  • Please check all inventories to identify if you have any product affected by recalls.
  • If Second Harvest Heartland has distributed product affected by a recall, your agency will be notified by Partner Services and given instructions.
  • Keep in mind that recalled product could be in your inventory even if you haven’t ordered it from Second Harvest Heartland. Recalled product may have been distributed through miscellaneous food boxes, food rescue, food drives, donations or your other food vendors.
  • If you find recalled product in your inventory, follow the instructions in the recall notice or those provided by Second Harvest Heartland.
  • Use this recall plan template to create a response plan for your organization.
