Punch Neapolitan Pizza Gives Back

Second Harvest Heartland and Punch Pizza are celebrating 15 years of partnership, as the Twin Cities-based restaurant brings their diners not only hot and fresh Neapolitan pizzas, but the opportunity to help end hunger in our community.

“Over the past fifteen years, Punch Pizza’s contributions have taken on many forms: from collecting food at their metro locations, to soliciting donations during their Spring campaign, to their annual volunteer shift at Second Harvest Heartland’s Volunteer Center," says Anne Laskey, Second Harvest Heartland’s Cause Marketing and Events Manager. “We love this partnership and are excited to partner with Punch every year.”

This year, customers are invited to donate $10 to support Second Harvest Heartland in exchange for a $12 coupon for Punch Pizza as an expression for their gratitude. This year’s campaign will run from March 17 until March 21.

Since 2009, Punch has raised close to $64,000 to support Second Harvest Heartland, including $40,000 in the past five years. These contributions support Second Harvest Heartland programs and services aimed at ending hunger together.

“Ending hunger in our community is a shared responsibility, and at Punch we’re committed to making a difference,” says Adam Dornfeld, Chief Operations Officer of Punch Pizza. “Sharing a meal brings people together, fostering a sense of community, meaningful connections, and an appreciation for different cultures. We’re proud of our 15-year partnership and are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.”

Second Harvest Heartland is grateful for fifteen years of partnership with Punch Pizza, and are thankful for all of the pies over the years!
